Speaking Engagements and MC Services

With over two decades of experience of speaking engagements, working with groups from just a few to 3,000 at a time, I have developed a reputation as a speaker with something of value for everyone.  My engagements have ranged from MC services at weddings, family reunions, corporate workshops and keynote addresses for corporates, associations and annual general meetings.

A powerful feature of being in my audience is that decades of life and business experiences are brought to bear for you – from life in the bush, earth moving, farming and construction work, through to the corporate world of crisis and challenge after the share market crashes of 1987, 2000 (The Dot Com bust!) and the GFC.  Years of services in corporate rescue led into corporate training, teaching people and business how not to get into trouble, rather than rescuing them from it.  Powerful professional and personal development training has been my forte over many years, and this comes through as valuable lessons that everyone takes away from my speaking engagements.  Finally, 7 years in financial planning services has rounded off the corporate and business experience, so that a commentary in this area is also something worthy of an audience in those fields.

However, what is most important is that when you hire my services to speak to your people, your message will be delivered, with my own unique style of delivery.  It has been said that being in an audience with me on the podium is like having a front row seat in the cross-eyed javelin throw competition – no-one is game to look away, because they never know what is coming next!

Speaking Engagements Fees

Speaking Engagements are quoted on the specific requirements for each of the speaking engagements, as each client has different needs.  The variables include the time, whether a short period or some hours in duration, the location, which may involve travelling time, and whether material is provided or not, involving preparation time.

For MC Roles and speaking engagements, time and research for the project are the variables generally, with travel and accommodation sometimes needed also.

However, local service clubs may request speaking engagements of under an hour at no charge – Rotary, Lions, APEX and other such local, not for profit or community development organisations.  Provided they are under an hour in travel time, no charges are made to these community-minded organisations.

Regular fees are quoted in multiples of units of $250 USD each.  Included in the fees will be travel and accommodation costs and any other related expenses.
