This year of 2018 marks 30 years I have been involved in corporate training, consulting and coaching.  When I saw the 30 year update come through on Linked-In, it struck me that I should be celebrating in a very different way, so here it is.  I have become your Accelerated Learning Trainer Guy.

After 30 years, I’ll be teaching people what I learnt specifically over those three decades, about training, especially Accelerated Learning Training, so that other trainers, coaches and counsellors can enjoy the results and successes I have had, with my Accelerated Learning Training Work.

This page is about how the Accelerated Learning Trainer Guy evolved, from humble behginnings sitting in a seminar around 30 years ago, being absolutely WOWed by Balir Singer’s Accelerated Learning presentation of Money and You.  I had just spent the last couple of years doing a variety of university and business college Small Business courses and found them more than boring to sit through – they were mind-numbing!

There had to be a better way to teach this important information.

Blair Singer showed me that there was a better way.

I worked with Blair regularly over the next decade and maintained contact for many years, meeting him when he came to Australia for his other work.  I learned by watching him and my other mentors, and attending other Accelerated Learning presentation skills workshops, how to make a difference in the results and outcomes for my own training clients.

The results have been spectacular.

  • Australian Institute of Surveyors,
  • BMD Constructions,
  • Numerous small businesses,
  • Hundreds of individuals in The Executive Mastermind Program” workshops.

They all experienced amazing outcomes and provided incredible feedback on their results and their experiences of the training programs.

Ongoing research and development

In addition to attending seminars and learning from the experts, I’ve also been working on, researching and developing new techniques and methodologies in my training programs.

One of the most powerful developments has been the Soft Skills work, especially with the Emotional Tone Scale.  This work, in conjunction with my work and research with Michael Domeyko Rowland into Sub-Personalities and Voice Dialogue, has probably been the most important and far-reaching.  It taught me how to move a person from an unhelpful emotional state, such as anger, or perhaps grief, where learning and rational thinking is not possible, to a state of mind where they could actually learn and think freely and clearly, to where they could make choices again.

The Soft Skills work also evolved the concept of Conflict Resolution, to where we have a model that can not only defuse and resolve conflict instantly, it can also become a culture that prevents conflicts arising. This comes from resolving issues as a matter of course in general conversation, both internally within a person and externally with their work group, as a natural way of thinking and communicating.  It has taken conflict resolution to it’s next evolutionary stage.

These methods and techniques are all included in the Accelerated Learning based Soft Skills programs I have worked with for over two decades.

Now, I’m putting this out there as a training program for the forward thinking trainers, coaches, teachers and counselors of the world to experience and pass on.
